A Chapter 7 is very quick, most of the time is spent waiting on the courts. If you are filing No Asset without any objections or Lifts of Automatic Stay, your Chapter 7 should take 60-90 days. Please, if you decide to the Bankruptcy route, do not try to cheat your creditors or the trustee out of asset value. If you lie on the petition or hide assets or fail to inform your creditors of the petition, you are dooming your petition to drag out for a very long time and it will cost you in attorney billings, court fees and document fees way more than if you had just reported it to begin with.
