I am tired of collection companies and interest rates. What happens if you just don’t pay anything and just don´t go for Bankruptcy.?? Is it going to clear from my credit score one day or is it going to keep follow me after I die.???
Can you please someone explain to me?, what happens if you just do nothing. Is it end of the world.?
When you pay on time you are a good person, once you miss one payment you are in the Black List. Is it fair?
I don´t want to live according to some numbers anymore.
Am I not qualified to have anything I want because I don´t have a Good Credit Score.
Am I not qualified to live very simple life because I have a low numbers.
Who decides this?

I filed in March 2007 and expect my actual discharge letter in the mail any day now-wait, is that the mailman? My bankruptcy already shows up on my credit report and my credit score isn’t so terrible! Specifically, I want to know if its o.k. to start applying for ONE SINGLE credit card and a car loan. That’s it. I’m rebuilding my credit on those two things. Period. Thanks.

Im 19yrs old, i got two credit cards when i turned 18, one had a 2500 balance and the other had an 8000 dollar balance. and for the first few months i had 200 to 300 dollars in debt and i payed that off from month to month, i recently had my car take a shit, it would have coasted me 5000 dollars for the new engine, so i just bought a used car for 5000 on my credit card. then i was lost my job for a 2 months and i put on another 2000, between paying for rent, ex….. then other things started to come up where i didn’t have the money and needed to pay them. So now i have both cards maxed out. not sure what is best for me to do. I cant afford much over the minimum payments, im not sure if i should go with a debt help/consolidation thing, file a chapter 13 or 7 bankruptcy, i really don’t have many assets they can take. its just getting hard to pay the cards, and other expenses. If anyone has any information that might help me or any tips. it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks All.
i was making 2000 a month now because i lost my job and i found a new on im only making about 700 at a min. up to 1000.
Also i have have a credit score of 753. it was with the help of my mother. she had me on her credit cards sense i was 15. witch really busted my score once i got my own cards and started making payments.

Yesterday, my family wanted to buy a new car.
We spotted a Camry 2011 Sports Edition at k.
Saleperson was really nice but we asked for k but the saleperson said that he couldn’t do it and need to ask his "manager" if it was ok to to sell it for k.
10 mins later, saleperson was like, ok, the manager said it was ok to sell it for k.
Then manager comes out and asked the saleperson what the hell was he doing. He then suddenly said that we can’t buy that car cause he’ll be losing money if he sell that car to us.
The manager was like… hell no to us. But he did make a deal with us.
He said we can buy that car at 175% interest with ,000 downpayment but he will need to take away those racing wheels away from the car. The final price was ,000 at 50/month.
Then my dad was like, are you joking me?
Then the manager was like, there’s no way that I can sell this car to you for that cheap because your credit score doesn’t even reach 750 and is only at 715 right now, plus you are a bankruptcy person, chapter 13. So it is either you take this deal or no.
(Manager yelled back at my dad so loud that everyone heard that we used to be bankruptcy and also told them our credit score in the entire building. Isn’t those things usually kept private?)
We were bankruptcy in 1991, that was almost over 20 years ago and we paid it all back.

So… what the hell is his problem?
And seriously… do you think they will lose any $$ if they sell a k car for k?
I doubt it unless they bought the car at k.

Anyway, I kinda felt bad for the saleperson, we wasted over 2 hours trying to find a car.
But, do you think the manager sounds racist?
We’re planning on talking to the boss tomorrow.
My bad… the manager is Philippians and we’re Chinese.
I guess I missed this part, he also told us that since We are Chinese, we can’t afford this car and that once you buy it, in 1 month, we’ll throw it back to them. He also told us that we should go back to China and buy a car there.

We are in a 13 Just checked my score and it is a 530, which is rated at very poor. Husband and myself have gotten approval from the trustee to purchase a house after a year and our score is 620. That is what the trustee said that it would be after a year! We have been in for about 9months now and I do not see my score improving! Would I be allowed to hold a secured Credit Card to improve my credit score?

To start, I am now pretty humbled. I was making 60k a year, driving a new sports car, and living life happily with minimal debt. My wife and I made some poor financial decisions and I was left with a bit debt after our divorce. It is now at a point where with the economy, working in the sales field, I am only making just under 40k. I have 22k left to pay on the car at 0 a month, paying about 0 a month in gas to travel to my job, about 20k in unsecured debt. I had to abandon my lease in the apartment that I was living in so i have no clue what I owe to them. I tried to trade the vehicle in for something different but trade in is only worth 15k, so about 7k in negative equity, and with a low to mid 500 credit score, nobody is willing to work with me. I have thought about filing a bankruptcy, but even at 40k a year, I am above my means for a chapter 7 bankruptcy according to lawers, and breaking too even per month on a chapter 13. Maybe someone has a idea of a solution. thanks.

Im only 24 and really want to buy a house, where can I go to get myself informed of all the steps I have to take. I checked my credit online and I have only two accounts which I already payed off. But my credit score is 541. I have no bankruptcy no credit card, the only reason why it was low is because I applied for credit card which I never got. Would I be able to buy a house, How much money do I need to have in my account. any answers would help thanks.

Is it possible to ask a credit card company to be nicer on the credit score by removing some of their remarks?

A few years ago I was being sued and had to pay for a lawyer out of pocket. Needless to say, nothing went horribly late but because I was called multiple times a day asked why I wasn’t paying on time, they assumed I was filling for Bankruptcy and closed the cards as write offs; although I specifically told them I was getting sued and not filling for Bankruptcy.

I read online that generally companies do write-offs when they’re 6 months late—which was never the case. I paid them all off with their outrageous fees and all, but having a ‘write-off’ is horrible.

Could I write to the company to get that remark removed?

I have found conflicting information. Some sites say you can purchase a home anytime after a bankruptcy discharge as long as your credit score has been rebuilt but other sites say you have to wait at least 2-3 years. Which is it?

My bankruptcy has been discharged for about 1 year. I got a Capital 1 credit card a few months ago. I was approved for a 0 limit and since I paid the TOTAL amount every month, they raised it to 0 after 3 months. I am still paying off the balance in FULL every month. I started checking my credit score online in December and the average of all the credit agencies was 618. In Jan in went up to 621, and its still 621 now (Feb). I only have the one credit card, which I am doing the right thing with… so why is my score not going up by much? I dont want to get a bunch of credit cards (its what messed up my credit to begin with). I did apply for a Best Buy card over the weekend, but was not approved. I am looking for a new car, and Carmax approved me with "no documentation required" for 11.65%. I dont know if having a car loan will help or hurt. Does anyone out there have more experience with this?
I filed for bankruptcy because I messed up my credit from 1998 to 2002 (age 18-22). I filed in 2007 and it was discharged in 2008. I tried my hardest to pay off my debt from 2002-2007, but was not making a dent in it due to fees, interest etc. I am not one of those people who took the easy way out. The only reason I got the 1 credit card was because I was told it would help with my score. Charging only what I know I can pay off in full each month should say something about me and the lessons I have learned.

I am preparing to file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy to discharge my medical bills of ,000. I have no other debt, other than my car payment. What can I expect my credit score to fall to? Right now I have about a 700.

I live in San Diego, CA. I have absolutely horrific credit (not bragging). I had a rough patch which basically demolished my fair credit score about 2 years ago. I have been working at the same job for years and in the past have rented various luxury apartments in the past (when I had fair credit). I have never had a problem with a landlord as I have always paid my rent on time. My credit history tells a very different story however. I think my FICO is a whooping 500 which is terrible I know. I am now what they call cash rich, credit poor. I’m finally making really good money, but I have the worst credit rating. I don’t want to have a co-signer, but if I have to I can get one. I can also afford to pay double whatever the deposit may be. Will the fact that I’ve had the same job for four years, make over 3 times the rent amount, and have a good rental history save me from my terrible credit history? How tough are landlords about this sort of stuff? I want the apartment in my name only and I have a dependent.

I know that people experiencing worse situations…i.e. bankruptcies must be able to rent, so surely I can rent someplace?

Does anyone know of apartment complexes in San Diego that either don’t do credit checks or that will work with people with bad credit? I did find one place online that is a luxury apartment and works with people with bad credit, but I really want to save money and all their apartments are 00+.

Are judgements discharged in chapter 7 bankruptcy. Example if you were evicted from an apartment or house. Also if you own your vehicle will they take that or do you get to keep it? And how long does it take for your credit score to improve and for you to be able to apply for credit again?

I need to get an emergency loan…fast!

My credit isn’t that bad (my credit score is 623), but I can’t get a personal loan from my bank. They said that they would only give me an auto loan, which I don’t need. I don’t want to get any more payday loans. I’m told that not in debt enough to declare bankruptcy, but I can’t get caught up on bills.

I’ve also been told that I should not get debt consolidation, as that might make your credit worse. If I could get just enough to get caught up on bills (utilities, medical) I should be alright–I only need about ,000.

Is there some service on somewhere online that provides some kind of loan to suit my needs? Help…any (serious) advice would be very much appreciated!

I purchased a house with an ex, and needless to say things didn’t work out. When I moved out, he convinced me to sign a quit claim deed. I didn’t realize I was giving up all rights to the house without being released from my financial obligations to it. Now the house is in a foreclosure auction. I have no idea what this means for me. My credit was fantastic before all this business began, but now my credit score is plumiting fast! I’ve been told I should file for bankruptcy so that I can have my name removed from the mortgage, but I feel like that would be a bad idea. Is it really my best bet? What effect does this auction have on me? The ex refuses to talk to me at all, so I have no clue what’s going on besides what I can find online regarding the auction.

I petitioned the trustee to dismiss my Chapter 13 case because I could not afford to pay 00.00 a month anymore in addition to a 00.00 mortgage and other expenses. My primary reason for filing for Chapter 13 was to protect to house from forclosure. I sold my home and have a settlement date in two weeks. My question is since the Chapter 13 was dismissed on 8/20 what impact does this have on my credit score. Is it viewed just like it would if my case was "discharged"? Does my house being sold help my score any? Thanks!

Discharged from bankruptcy 8 months ago. For debt now I have student loans and 0 on one credit card. My credit score is low around 590-620. How much should I expect if any to get for a car loan? How much money down will I need? what will my loan finance rate be? What companies are the best to get a bad credit car loan? Any good online companies to use or just go to a dealer that specializes in bad credit loans? My income is around 00 a month before taxes and benefits etc.

I am getting married and need money to pay for this wedding. I am an only child and have hardly any family left. I have really bad credit from a previous marriage, my ex husband ran credit cards in my name and took out loans in my name, I had to file bankruptcy to have all these collectors stop calling. I applied for a couple personal loans but did not qualify. Is there such a place where they will loan me money with a credit score of under 500. Do you know the site that i can get more information about it?
